Many of her students went on to become outstanding vikings at the high school level. Anne Hebson, director and founder of the All American dolls dance team, was an outstanding educator of the elementary grades at Edwins elementary. HEBSON WAS INDUCTED INTO THE FLORIDA BANDMASTERS ASSOCIATION HALL OF FAME #FLORIDA BANDMASTER ASSOCIATION PROFESSIONAL#PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS INCLUDE THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF MUSIC EDUCATORS, FLORIDA MUSIC EDUCATORS ASSOCIATION, FLORIDA BANDMASTERS ASSOCIATION, PHI BETA MU AND THE AMERICAN BANDMASTERS ASSOCIATION. The Flanagan Wind Orchestra has consistently received Superior Ratings at District and State Florida Bandmasters Association Music Performance Assessments. HEBSON RECEIVED HIS BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN EDUCATION AND MASTER OF ARTS DEGREES FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA. Hebson retired in 1999 and continues to work as an adjudicator of instrumental music assessments and teaches several students privately.ĮRNEST O. The Symphonic, jazz and marching bands have never received less than a superior rating at FBA District assessments and were consistently rated superior at FBA state events. When the school became 7-12, grades 7-9 moved to the newly built max bruner jr. Hebson started the band program at Fort Walton Beach high school when the school was built in 1969 with grades 7-10.
